You can save £500 off the price of the ENGIE EV charge point through the OLEV Homecharge scheme. This means you only need to pay £179 if you have applied for, or switched to, the ENGIE EV Home tariff, otherwise it's £249.
All you need to do is:
- First check you meet the eligibility criteria of the OLEV Homecharge scheme
- Then print off, complete, and sign the OLEV Home Scheme Installation Form Part A
You’ll then need to provide a copy of your electric vehicle registration documents, for example your vehicle log book (V5C), your leasing or finance agreement, or a letter from your employer.

Then print off, complete and sign the ENGIE EV charge point application form.
To help us plan the installation of your charge point, we’d like you to take two photos:
- The intended location of the charge point
- Your existing consumer unit (fuse box) with the lid open
Finally, send us all the signed forms and documents in points 1 to 4. You can either scan and email, or post the documents to us.

- Post: Printed copies to ENGIE Power Ltd, Electric Vehicle Applications, 7th Floor, No1 Leeds, 26 Whitehall Road, Leeds LS12 1BE.
If you do not have access to a printer please call the EV Helpdesk on 0800 280 8000 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, excluding public holidays) and we can post paper copies of the forms to you.
What happens next?
1 - We’ll send you the ENGIE EV Charge Point Guide.
This provides you with full details on how to use your charge point, the guide is available here.
2- We’ll check all your documents are received and fully completed.
Once confirmed, we’ll call you to collect the installation charge by payment card within 2 days of receiving your documents.
3- We’ll then pass your details onto our installation team.
They will call you to arrange a convenient date for your installation.
The installation can typically take place 14 days later, or 21 days later if you are also transferring your energy supply to the EV Home tariff. You can choose from two daily time slots; a morning slot 8am to 12pm or an afternoon slot 12pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
Once agreed, we’ll send you an SMS to confirm the installation date and then a reminder the day before the installation date.
4- A trained installer will then attend your property.
On the day of your installation, our installer will contact you around 30 minutes before they arrive so you’re ready for the visit. When they call, they’ll always show you their personal ENGIE photo identification card and an adult 18 years or older will need to be at home. If necessary we’ll ask for proof of age.
The installation process should take around 2-3 hours to complete, though more complex home set-ups may take a little longer. In some cases, additional work and a further appointment may be required. Here are some example prices of additional work.
5- Electricity Installation certificate.
After the installation is completed we'll send you your Electricity Installation certificate.
