ENGIE EV Home tariff with free EV driving miles chevron_right

The ENGIE EV Home tariff provides clean renewable energy that can help reduce your electric vehicle running costs.  To make your electric vehicle even better value, we’ll provide the equivalent of over 500 free driving miles* which we’ll deliver through a £30 credit to your energy account.  And there are no surprises as our pricing is fixed for the duration of the term.

Get an ENGIE EV Home quote

To be eligible for the ENGIE EV Home tariff and receive £30 credit you need to provide us with proof you have registered a low-emission vehicle eligible for a plug-in grant shown here. This includes many plug-in hybrid models.

A copy of one of the following documents will be required; V5C, a leasing or finance agreement for the electric vehicle, evidence that you are nominated as the primary user of a company eligible electric vehicle or evidence that you have leased the vehicle as part of a salary-sacrifice scheme.  We will contact you to request the proof following your completion of your application for the EV Home tariff.

Available for UK mainland addresses only.

Remember when getting a quote, an electric vehicle driver’s home electricity consumption will be higher than a typical home.  The increased consumption will depend on the type of vehicle and usage.

ENGIE EV charge point installed from £179 chevron_right

Charging your car has never been easier. The ENGIE EV charge point is convenient and easy to use; just plug in the cable to charge, and unplug the cable to drive.  It’s designed to be compatible with all types of electric cars and all ENGIE charge points come with a 3 year warranty against defects in materials or manufacturing defects.

Our charge points are safer to use than standard 13A plug sockets and they charge vehicles much more quickly, for example an EV with a typical 24kWh battery could be fully charged with our 3.7kW charge point in around 7 hours, rather than 12-15 hours with a regular 13A socket.

ENGIE provide end to end solutions for EV charging, so there’s peace of mind that one of ENGIE’s team of specialist trained installers will install the ENGIE charge point at your home.

  • Supplying energy comes with a big responsibility to the planet. So that’s why we keep sustainability and renewable energy sources at the forefront of everything we do.
  • We don’t just say that. We can prove it. This tariff uses 100% renewable electricity. That’s right all of the electricity on this tariff is generated from renewable sources.

For more information about our commitment to renewable energy, take a look at our Going Green guide, check out our Green Zone or view the journey our energy takes to get to you.

We source our renewable energy from our own portfolio of assets. You can see these locations on this UK map.

The ENGIE Community Initiative

Green energy and generating renewable energy is important to us, so we’re in the process of creating the ENGIE Community Energy Initiative, to support Green energy projects in the UK.

The ENGIE Community Initiative will support sustainable energy schemes and projects, with the aim of promoting Green energy initiatives.

For every customer who signs up or renews onto our tariff, we’ll make a donation, enabling the creation of more sustainable energy projects in the UK.

We’ll use our time and expertise to launch, sponsor and manage these schemes with the aim of generating more Green energy focused initiatives throughout the country.

* The free miles are calculated based on the amount of electricity £30 would buy with the ENGIE EV Home electricity tariff with an average direct debit single rate unit price of 14.45p/kWh and applying the most popular UK electric vehicle WLTP defined electricity consumption of 194 Wh/km.  For example: ((£30/£0.1445 = 216.14kWh) / 0.194 kWh/km) = 1,070km or 665 miles

This calculation excludes all daily standing charges that apply to your electricity account and is in addition to your existing electricity consumption.  All figures in the calculation exclude VAT.

***You must have applied for and have switched to our ENGIE Home EV tariff prior to installation of the charge point. Where the switch fails for any reason whatsoever, you will be required to pay the relevant additional cost prior to the installation of the charge point.

For ENGIE EV Home Tariff holders, ENGIE will contribute £70 towards the charge point and installation costs.
